Antique eastern armour Char Aina set, and 15th/16th century Turkish Gorget
A set of four wootz or ‘damascus’ steel plates comprising a Char Aina set of antique Indian armour, to be worn over a mail shirt, and an early Turkish Ottoman Iron gorget , worn over the back shoulders with two separate plates fixed by rivetted steel mail links, originally worn as part of the set of plates by the armies of the Ottoman empire which invaded eastern and central Europe during the period of this piece of early armour.
