A beautiful Ottoman Turkish knife, the hilt and sheath of gilded steel, in designs of arabesques, and panels. A cartouche containing arabic writing to the lower sheath. The blade of fine crystalline wootz steel with patterned fullers along the top edge. Circa 1800.  middle east
