Heavy Gilded silver dagger from Nepal

 A  richly decorated dagger from Nepal, the hilt and sheath mounts made from heavy gilded silver. The handle formed as a bird, with integral handguard. The blade single edged and slightly recurved, sheath with fabric covering, pierced and ornamented gilt silver chape and locket. 19th century
