Caucasian kindjal dagger with silver and niellowork circa 1900

 A Caucasian kindjal dagger, the sheath and hilt of silver finely chiselled with patterns and inlaid with niello. The finial retaining its ball terminal, the reverse also inlaid with niello depicting panels of flowers. The steel blade highly polished and with a deep central fuller and very sharp needle tip. Very good condition circa 1900.  european
