An attractive antique Indian-Nepalese Kukri knife ‘sword’. Good quality piece circa 1900, the hilt of hardwood inlaid with triangular and crescent designs. The buttcap of steel, the edges brass, with a brass rinned finial to the pommel, steel chiselled bolsters. Good steel blade with hollowed facets. The sheath covered with black leather and having a small chiselled silver chape. Good overall condition with some age wear, one back pocket missing to the sheath. 19 inches overall.
