A nice quality large Tibetan knife with Chinese influenced decoration. The blade very thick steel, single edged and robust with a curved tip. The hilt with bone inlaid with steel, layered pommel, the reverse with black horn slab. The sheath with nice large eastern silver mounts pierced and nicely chiselled to the front with designs of dragons and a deer-type animal. Good functional piece in great condition, probably used as a utensil and belt-knife doubling as a weapon if need be.
