Rare matching Pair of Far Eastern Dao swords Vietnamese

An interesting matched pair of eastern Dao swords probably from Vietnam. Large steel blades engraved with scrollwork decoration, the tips of ‘clipped’ shape inlaid with brass cross roundels. The long grips bound with thick fibre/cord, small rectangular steel guards, and the pommels of ring form. Circa 1900, 37 inches overall. southern asia, far east
