An old recurved compound bow from Northern India or Iran. With traces of lacquered and painted decoration, the front with old fabric remaining. Surviving with an original cord bound bow-string ( currently incorrectly fitted to the relaxed bow nocks). With age wear and loss allover. Circa 1800 or earlier.
