Indian Tulwar sword with thick silver to the hilt and inlaid blade. A good north Indian heavy tulwar sabre dating to the early 19th century. the steel hilt with a large curved handguard. Silver decoration to all parts of the hilt in attractive geometric patterns, the large circular pommel with an extended stalk. The heavy curved blade of good quality steel, crystalline steel construction worthy of further cleaning and investigation, the forte inlaid on one side with a small cartouche and decorative calligraphy.
