The heavy steel blade double edged and with spatulate rounded tip, the back edge and the upper front chiselled with decorative reinforcement strips. The hilt with a large lobed handguard and steel knuckleguard, and round upper pommel. With the typical long sturdy reinforced langet attaching the blade to the hilt. The sword retains its original patina and is in good solid condition, a true fighting weapon circa 1800. indo-persian
