An interesting and very scarce lance or spear from Burma. Long blackened wooden shaft with silver mounts to the upper section, large steel butt spike to the end. The upper section of the shaft also decorated with silver fittings, balls and mounts, the long steel head with a blackened lower shaft, the blade thick and robust with a flower-shaped bottom edge and decorative chiselling with traces of a black inlay. 93 inches long approximately. southern asia
