Old long two handed Dha or daarb sword from Thailand, 19th century. Curved tubular from silver handle with decoration and rounded bud type finial, Long sturdy gently curving blade with greatly thickened spine, the back edge mostly sharpened from the tip making this in practise a double-edged sword. Old wear and denting, working repairs to the central grip section and the lobed silver engraved guard. Original wooden scabbard lacquered red and retaining two silver bands. 41 inches overall the blade 27 inches.
