A good solid Tulwar sword probably from Afghanistan or North India. Heavy good steel blade, gently curving with single edge and the tip having a sharpened back edge for about a foot or so. The blade is marked near the forte with makers marks, and a smaller semi-circular stamp near the hilt. The hilt of robust steel, incorporating a steel handguard and a dished protective pommel.
