19th Century African Zulu shield
Description
A nice example of an old 19th Century Zulu shield, probably a war shield example. Brown fur ( age loss) woven with white fur strips along the centre. Remains of the old stiffening stick to the reverse, and retaining both of its thin hide grip strips.
