An old Victorian display consisting of a large Zulu war shield mounted on an oval wooden board. The shield is mounted with a central wooden stick the top retaining some hide, and two divination or authorative staffs which run the full length of the shield. The shield is a little warped and all is uncleaned and untouched, the board with some writing fairly indiscernable. Late 19th/early 20th Century. The shield over 4 ft in length. $4000
