Indo Persian Saddle

An attractive and rare Persian saddle used for war or for horseback sports. Constructed of wood with painted and lacquered decoration, the edges trimmed with finely engraved bone or ivory. A very beautiful and decorative piece. Good overall condition for age, some areas of wear and losses. Iran 18th century.
