An interesting and old example of a Tigers claw weapon, or 'Bagh Nakh'. Well made piece all of steel, with three tapering razor sharp claws attached to a crosspiece and two rings sized to take the index and little finger of the right hand. These weapons were popularly used by thieves and assassins as they were easy to conceal in the handy. The Mahrattan leader Sivaji famously used one to kill a rival Azfal Khan in the 18th Century. This is a genuine old example of fine construction dating to the 18th century or earlier. North India.
