A very beautifully carved hilt for a sword 'Dha' from Burma. Th hilt profusely carved and pierced with figures of men and animals entwined with each other and with foliage. The pommel is formed by the carved form of a man bent over backwards brandishing two curved swords. Very small area of damage to mid section. 9.5 inches long overall.
