An old percussion pistol from Turkey or the Caucasus. The flintlock converted to percussion but retaining its miquelet catch. Chequered hardwood grip. The barrel held with one brass cappucine and with a brass trigger guard. Retaining its iron ramrod, and fitted with a side hook for wearing on a belt. With a small wood repair to one area. 14 inches. Early/mid 19th century.
