A 19th century Moroccan Kabyle musket. Wooden stock decorated with bone, brass and red lac inlay, steel furniture and fittings. The Lock of traditional snaphaunce type, having a large sliding pan cover peculiar to these guns. The butt decoarated with slabs of ivory missing one steel fitting below. The long barrel with a flared muzzle and with many cappucines of brass along its length. Good overall condition, damage to the butt area. 58 inches overall. 19th Morocco. $595 |
