Afghan Tulwar 'Pulwoar'A scarce variation of the Afghan tulwar 'Pulwoar'. Very nice example with the rarer rounded ball pommel, the hilt chiselled steel with drooping dragon quillons, small gilt bronze rivet, original lanyard strap attached to the hinged pommel finial. Strong steel blade with chiselled decoration, clipped point with sharpened back edge. Complete with its original black hide covered scabbard. Excellent condition, a stunning sword, dating to the 19th century.
