A large and very robust Indo-Persian dagger 'pesh kabz'. Long deeply recurved steel blade with extremely long and strong reinforced point, flat reinforced spine and chamfered edge, all designed for piercing armour. Steel mounts, the grips of flat slabs of a grained white stone, possibly onyx or jade. 15 inches overall. Dating to the 18th/19th century.
