A nice Kayan Dayak sword. Unusual in being made for a left-handed owner. The hilt nicely carved with designs, the grip bound with different coloured fibre. Heavy steel blade the edge chiselled with Kayan motifs. The scabbard carved to some areas and bound with black rattan, an area of slight damage to the centre, and retaining its woven carrying strap.
