A full suit of Indian mail armour. All constructed of heavy rivetted mail composing of a long armoured shirt with steel plates to the torso and back, a pair of mail trousers or leggings, and a mail coif or hood. The shirt with a shirt chiselled inscription on one plate in Devnagiri or Sanskrit. All with good age patina, dating to the 17th century. Deccan, South India.
